Her secret is in creating a number of distinct zones. She believes that zoning helps create functional spaces and makes an illusion of a multifunctional space and not a 25 sq.m. apartment.

Marianne Evennou's niche is incorporating atelier-styled interior windows. She finds it an effective way of creating natural light and expanding the space. Meanwhile, the windows placed this way have an aesthetic appeal too. As for creating privacy, one can add fabric Venetian blinds to the windows.
